I tried out the sambhar podi recipe, and the 1/4 cup of fenugreek seeds makes it a tad too bitter. Probably should have used 1/8 cup.

Hi. In my country only whole green moong daal is available. Can I use that instead of split moong daal?

I am very sorry I missed on the part of adding turmeric. We are not using whole turmeric here, but powdered turmeric. So when you are done grinding the whole spices to a fine powder, add the turmeric powder and grind until it is evenly mixed. Thank y

The recipe never states when to add the Turmeric, should we add at the very end or mix in after grinding the whole spice?
