Ingredients used in Shanas Coffee Cake
• Baking soda - 1 teaspoons.
• Sugar - 1 cup.
• Butter - 1 stricks.
• Sour cream - 1 cup.
• Baking powder - 1 teaspoons.
• Vanilla - 1 tablespoons.
• Salt - 1/4 teaspoons.
• Eggs - 2 numbers.
• Chopped nuts - 1/2 cup.
• Sugar - 3 tablespoons.
• Cinnamon for topping - 1 teaspoons.
Method:
Cream butter and sugar well. Add eggs, one at a time. Beat well after each addition. Add vanilla and salt. Sift flour, baking soda, and baking powder together. Add alternately with sour cream. Put half the batter into a tube pan. Sprinkle with cinnamon/sugar mixture and chopped nuts. Top with remaining batter. Top again with cinnamon/sugar mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes until inserted toothpick is clean.
