Ingredients used in Simple prawn curry made in granmas style
• Turmeric - pinch.
• Chilli powder - to taste.
• Ginger garlic paste - 1 to 1and 1/2 tablespoons.
• Tomato - 1 numbers.
• Onions(large) - 3 numbers.
• Prawn - 80-100 numbers.
• Salt - to taste.
• Cilantro - bunch.
• Oil - 2-3 tablespoons.
Method:
Take oil in a hot pan.Add finely chopped onions and cook till slighty brown.Once the onions start getting slightly brown add ginger garlic paste.cook till the raw smell goes.The add turmeric,salt and tomatoes.Once the tomatoes loose the raw flavour add chilli powder and cook well.Finally add the prawn add cook(do not close the lid while cooking).Once the prawns are done,i.e oil start coming out at the corners of the pan,we can garnish with cilantro.Prawn curry is ready to be served.It goes extremly well with rice/chapathi. Note:Entire cooking process must be done on medium flame.
