Ingredients used in Sodhi
• Coconut milk - 3 cup.
• Moong dal - 1/2 cup.
• Whole small onions - 5 .
• Whole garlic - 5 .
• Vegetables ( carrot, beans, butter beans, drumstick, potato) - 1 head.
• Green chillies - 3 head.
• Ginger juice - 10 drops.
• Coconut oil - 2 tablespoons.
• Jeera - 1 tablespoons.
• Lemon juice - 1 tablespoons.
Take 3 cups of coconut milk, first stage, second and third... In the third coconut milk, boil moong dhall, in the second milk, boil all the vegetable, add both together and cook for a minute,... At last add the first coconut milk, jeera fried in coconut oil, ginger juice and then switch off the stove, get the vessel down and add lemon juice.. Sochi can be had with ginger chutney, and potato curry... For ginger chutney, fry 1 finger ginger, half cup coconut, 2 red chillies salt and a little tamarind... Keep it cool and then grind... Do the thalippu and serve... Sochi is white in color, and ginger chutney orange in color.... Great to eat with rice, chappathi and idiyappam...
