Ingredients used in SOYA CHUNKS MAAMIDI TURUMU FRY
• Soya chunks-meal maker - 2 cup.
• Grated mango sour - 1/2 cup.
• Onion - 3 numbers.
• Green chilies - 4 numbers.
• Fresh green peas - 1 cup.
• Fried gram powder - 2 tablespoons.
• Ground nut powder - 2 tablespoons.
• Ginger garlic paste - 2 teaspoons.
• Mustard seeds - 1 teaspoons.
• Salt - 1 to.
• Red chili powder - 2 teaspoons.
• Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoons.
• Oil - 200 grams.
• Cumin seed - 1 teaspoons.
• Cardamom - 1/2 teaspoons.
• Cinnamon - 1 piece.
• Cloves - 4 numbers.
• Curry leaves - 4 springs.
• Coriander leaves - 1/2 bunch.
• Mint leaves - 1/4 bunch.
Method:
1.Soak the soya chunk in a hot water for 5 min and strain the water from it. 2.Heat oil in a pan add soaked soya chunk and fry it and keep it aside. 3.For tempering heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, onions, salt and saute it and keep aside. 4.In a blender blend the cardamom seeds, cinnamon, cloves make a coarse powder. 5.Now add this powder to green peas and cook it for few mins. 6.Then add curry leaves, green chilies, ginger garlic paste, turmeric powder, salt and mix it well, and later add soya chunk cook it for few mins. 7.After few minutes add ground nut powder, fried gram powder cook it for 5 mins. 8.Later add grated mango sour, red chili powder, coriander leaves and mint leaves along with tempering and cook it for another 2 minutes place a lid on it, then switch off the flame. 9.Finally garnish with coriander leaves, tasty soya chunk maamidi turumu is ready to serve.
