Ingredients used in SOYA SHAMMI KEBAB
• Red chillies - 2 numbers.
• Mace - 1 grams.
• Cardamom - 1 numbers.
• Cloves - 3 numbers.
• Tailed pepper - 1/4 tea spoon.
• Black cumin seeds - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Coriander seeds - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Cumin seeds - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Chana dal(boiled) - 1/2 cup.
• Soya chunks - 1/2 cup.
• Coriander leaves(chopped) - 1 tablespoon.
• Mint leaves(chopped) - 1 tablespoon.
• Oil - 1 tea spoon.
• Butter - 1 tea spoon.
• Lime juice - 1/2 number.
• Ginger(chopped) - 1 tea spoon.
• Garlic(chopped) - 1 tea spoon.
• Green chilies(chopped) - 1 number.
• Red chili powder - 1 tablespoon.
• Salt - to taste.
Method:
  • Take soya granules and place in boiling water for 5 minutes and squeeze water and keep aside.
  • Heat pan and add red chilies, mace, cardamom, cloves, tailed pepper, black cumin seeds, coriander, cumin seeds and dry roast it.
  • Transfer into mixie jar to make fine powder and transfer into a plate.
  • In the same mixie jar add chana dal, soya chunks and make smooth powder.
  • Take a bowl and add masala powder, smooth paste, ginger, garlic, green chillies, red chili powder, salt, coriander leaves, mint leaves, lime juice and mix nicely.
  • Take small dumpling and give kabab shape.
  • Heat butter with little oil in a pan and place the kabab and cook it on both sides.

Now the Shammi kabab is ready to serve.
