Ingredients used in SPICED TEA
• Brown cardamom (badi elaichi) - 1 numbers.
• Water - 21/2 cup.
• Tea leaves (chai patti) - 2 teaspoons.
• Cinnamon stick (tuj/dalchini) - 1 numbers.
• Black pepper corns (kalimirchi) - 4 numbers.
• Milk (doodh) - 11/4 cup.
• Cloves (lavang) - 2 numbers.
• Sugar - 2 tablespoons.
Method:
  • Place the water, cloves, cardamom, peppercorns and cinnamon in a saucepan and bring to boil.
  • Stir in the tea leaves and continue to cook over a moderate heat for 2 minutes.
  • Add the milk and sugar and boil, remove from the heat.
  • Strain and serve piping hot.
