Ingredients used in spicy potatoe roast - south indian dish
• Corriander powder, - 1 tablespoons.
• Turmeric powder - 1 teaspoons.
• Chilli powder, corriander powder, turmeric powder - 1 tablespoons.
• Peeled potatoe or washed white baby potatoes with skin - 1/2 kg pound.
• Salt - 1 small.
• Oil - 2 teaspoons.
Method:
wash potatoes dice them into small cubes. heat the non stick pan with oil, add the chopped potatoes, add ingredients, salt stirr well - 3 minutes, cover it with glass lid allow it to cook without water for 10 minutes with lid. uncover it roast well until it is cooked. when potatoes are half cooked stirr well cover it again once 85% cooked open the lid roast it uncovered until cooked.check every ten minutes and turn it around to stop sticking to the pan or burning. it comes with nice coating crispyness on the outside and softness inside.
