Ingredients used in SPINACH AND LENTIL SOUP
• Brown lentils. - 1 cup.
• Onion - 1 slice.
• Water - 2000 ml.
• Salt - 1 teaspoons.
• Frozen chopped spinach - 250 grams.
• Lemon wedges - to taste.
Method:
Wash the lentils very well by removing the stones and twigs. Put them in a large saucepan with the water,salt and onions and keep them until they boil. Keep them boiling until the lentils gets very tender.(add extra water if necessary). Add the spinach and cook them for 10 more minutes. Taste and adjust some salt and pepper. Serve with lemon wedges.
