Stir Fried Turkey Oriental Style

Ingredients used in Stir Fried Turkey Oriental Style
• Turkey - 250 grams.
• Egg - 1 numbers.
• Ginger garlic paste - 1 tablespoons.
• Turmeric powder - 1 teaspoons.
• Vinegar - 1 tablespoons.
• Coriander leaves (chopped) - 1 bunch.
• Cherry tomatoes - 50 grams.
• Red chili paste - 1 teaspoons.
• Tomato sauce - 2 tablespoons.
• Dark soya sauce - 2 tablespoons.
• Brown sugar - 1 cup.
• Fish sauce - 1 teaspoons.
• Light soya sauce - 1/4 teaspoons.
• Ginger garlic (chopped) - 1/4 teaspoons.
• Spring onion - 100 grams.
• Mushroom - 100 grams.
• Red chilli paste - 1 teaspoons.
• Oil - to fry.
• Corn flour - 1 cup.
• Salt - to taste.
Method:
  • Wash the Turkey well and combine all ingredients of the marinade with the Turkey pieces.
  • Take a bowl add Fish sauce, Ginger garlic paste, corn flour, half an egg, mix it well. then add the turkey pieces coat them well.
  • Heat oil in a pan Fry the Turkey Pieces till crispy and brown and keep it aside.
  • Take a small mixing bowl add chili paste, vinegar, Tomato ketchup, Light soya sauce, Dark soya sauce, and mix it well.
  • Take a pan add oil, chopped ginger, chopped Garlic, Brown sugar, Mushroom, white Pepper powder, Spring onion(white part), Turmeric powder, Then add turkey.
  • After cooking for Some time Add Cherry Tomatoes and Spring Onion toast it well
  • Garnish with fresh Spring onion and serve hot.

Stir fried Turkey cooked in Oriental style is an amazing meat preparation that is absolutely flavorful, is an amalgamation of sweet, sour and hot essence mixed together giving the dish an exotic taste on bite. This explicit stir fry turkey cooked in Oriental style goes well with rice or noodles. It is also a perfect stir fry blend that features a mix of tang from ginger, garlic, chilli paste, brown sugar, exotic slurry made with a mix of tomato ketchup, light soya sauce, dark soya sauce and little vinegar, mushrooms, cherry tomatoes and spring onions tossed with other ingredients engulfing the savor into them.

 

This is low sodium and heart healthy dish as turkey is said to be lean meat with less fat. This is also a perfect snack dish or side to any meal. Turkey is a very popular and the common main dish of a Thanksgiving dinner. Thanksgiving is also sometimes colloquially called as ‘Turkey Day’.  A huge roast turkey is the center piece on the dinner table for the Thanksgiving Day. Often most Thanksgiving turkeys are stuffed with bread based mixture and roasted.

 

They are also roasted with traditional herbs and veggies. Nowadays, deep fried turkey is rising in popularity. This Stir fried Turkey cooked in Oriental Style is an awesome dish that can be made for a Thanksgiving Day. Kids would love to eat them just like that. Stir frying like sautéing is an excellent method of cooking, quickly cooks the turkey in little oil. It is a fast paced cooking method hence it’s very important that all ingredients are kept ready before beginning to cook. 

 

Turkey is a great source of nutrients and a valuable source of proteins. Skinless turkey is low in fat and is dark meat. The turkey meat is a good source of iron, zinc, potassium and phosphorus.  It is also a source of vitamin B6 and niacin, which are both essential for the body’s energy production. How to prepare Stir Fried Turkey Oriental Style:

Ingredients:

  1. Turkey                     -       250 gms
  2. Fish sauce (optional)       -       1 tsp
  3. Egg                  -       1 no
  4. Ginger garlic paste   -       1 tbsp
  5. Corn flour                -       1 ½ tsp
  6. Oil                    -       for deep frying
  7. Ginger, chopped      -       1 tsp
  8. Garlic, chopped               -       1 tsp
  9. Brown sugar            -       1 tsp
  10. Mushroom               -       6 – 8 nos
  11. Spring onions          -       1 bunch
  12. Cherry Tomatoes      -       50 gms

To make the slurry:

  1. Chilli paste              -       1 tbsp
  2. Vinegar                    -       1 tsp
  3. Tomato ketchup       -       1 ½ tsp
  4. Light Soya sauce      -       1 tsp
  5. Dark Soya Sauce     -       ½ tsp

Directions:

  1. Wash the Turkey well, & combine all ingredients of the marinade with the Turkey pieces.
