Ingredients used in Tabakh Naat
• Rib chops of mutton - 5 numbers.
• Full cream milk - 1 cup.
• Green elaichi - 1 numbers.
• Elaichi - 1 big.
• Sonth - 1 teaspoons.
• Badiyan - 1 teaspoons.
• Zeera (cumin seeds) - 1 teaspoons.
• Cinnamon, powdered - 1/2 teaspoons.
• Heeng (asafoetida) - 1 pinch.
• Ghee or clarified butter - 4-5 tablespoons.
Method:
Pour milk in a pressure cooker. ÔÇó Add all ingredients except ghee or butter. ÔÇó Cook for 10 minutes. ÔÇó Cool and open the lid. ÔÇó Melt ghee or butter in a large pan. ÔÇó Add cooked chops to ghee and fry on low heat. Fry both sides of chops. ÔÇó Fry until chops are golden brown. ÔÇó When done well, garnish with silver foil if desired. ÔÇó The dish is ready to serve hot.
