Ingredients used in talakaya(goat head) pulusu
• Vegetable oil or regular cooking oil - 10 to 13 tablespoons.
• Cumin powder - 1 tablespoons.
• Corriander powder - 1 tablespoons.
• Regular masala used to cook meat - 1 tablespoons.
• Chopped corriander - 1 bunch.
• Green chilli - 1 or 2 numbers.
• Red chilli powder - 1 tablespoons.
• Finely chopped tomato or tomato paste - 1.5 large.
• Onion paste - 1.5 large.
• Goat head pieces - 1.5 head.
• Salt - 1.5 tbsp to taste.
• Cumin seeds - 1 tablespoons.
• Ginger garlic paste - 2 tablespoons.
• Concentrated tamarind juice - 4 tablespoons.
Method:
Heat the pan,add oil.let the oil get heat.then add cumin seeds,then add finely chopped tomato or tomato paste and red chilli powder.let the tomato cook about 8 min.then add ginger garlic paste and onion paste and cook about 10 min,now add the masala powder,corriander powder, and cumin powder.cook for 2 min and now add the goat head pieces.mix well and cook the mixture about 10 to 13 min.now add 5 to 6 glasses of water.boil it for 25 min.at this point of time you can add little salt so that the pieces absorb salt. now add tamarind juice.boil 15 min.If the pulusu is this, you can boil for some more time till.Pulusu should not be thick and at the same time it should not be thin.see the consistency.swich off the flame and add finely chopped corriander.and see the taste and add salt too. It tastes awsome. And its very very good for joint pains,back pain and its a very good medicne for bones.
