Ingredients used in Thengai Chutney
• Coconut, grated - 1/2 numbers.
• Green chilies - 5 numbers.
• Salt - to taste.
• Black mustard seeds - 1/2 teaspoons.
• Black gram dal - 1 teaspoons.
• Red chiles - 2 numbers.
• Oil - 1 tablespoons.

Grind together coconut, green chilies and salt to a fine paste. Check consistency and add water, if needed. Heat oil and add mustard seeds, black gram dal and red chilies. When brown, pour over chutney.
