Ingredients used in Titori
• Val beans - 500 grams.
• Oil - 45 grams.
• Onion (chopped) - 90 grams.
• Ginger garlic paste - 30 grams.
• Red chilli whole - 4 numbers.
• Turmeric powder - 1 teaspoons.
• Cummin seed - 1 teaspoons.
• Coconut milk - 200 grams.
• Tamarind water - 20 ml.
• Jaggery - 15 grams.
• Fresh coriander leaves - 20 grams.
  1. Grind to a masala red chilli, turmeric, cummin and coriander.
  2. Boil the val in 1 litre water with salt till tender.
  3. Fry onions in oil till golden brown and add ginger garlic paste. Bhunno till oil leaves the masala.
  4. Add the ground masala and cook for 5 minutes.
  5. Add the val and coconut milk and simmer, stirring occasionally till gravy is thick.
  6. Add salt, tamarind water and jaggery, cook for 5 minutes more till thick.
  7. Serve hot sprinkled with fresh coriander leaves.

Hi, First thing, this is not Punjabi dish. Punjabi dishes are without coconut. What is val beans? My Fijian friend told me that this is Fijian Indian recipe.
