Ingredients used in Tomato Nuvvula Pacchadi
• Turmeric powder - 1/4 teaspoons.
• Tamarind - small lemon size - to taste.
• Jeera - 2 teaspoons.
• Nuvvulu(sesame seeds) - 3 teaspoons.
• Pudina - 6-7 leaf.
• Cilantro - bunch.
• Green chillies - 4 numbers.
• Tomatoes - 6 numbers.
• Salt - to taste.
• Oil - to taste.
• Curry leaves, jeera and mustard seeds. - to taste.
Method:
Put a pan on the stove, after it gets heated add nuvvulu and jeera till golden brown and remove it.
Then in the same pan add 1tsp and add green chillies, cilantro and pudina leaves, fry till it becomes soft(5 min)
Then remove it and add chopped tomatoes, turmeric and tamarind, let them fry till the raw smell of tomatoes was gone.
After it gets cool grind all the mixture#39;s.
Take another bowl heat it and add 3 tsp of oil while it gets heated add avaalu, jeera and curry leaves and remove it.
Then add the grinded paste in this.
Tomato nuvvula pacchadi is ready and it can be served in Rice, Chapathi#39;s and Dosa.

I am really surprised why this telugu receipe is listed under Karnataka section. The more suprising part is Bisibelebath is not listed in the Karnataka section. When I figure out the receipe I will definitely post. If anyone is a good kannada chef pl

Hi , i am from karnataka and there is nothing called nawalu in kannada and we don't make this dish in karntaka section....there is lot of dise in karnataka .realy diffrent and great. please remove it

hai i am jayashree,and i am from karnataka , there is no name called nuvvulu in kannada for sasame seeds, and no one makes this recipe in karnataka, so pls dont consider as karnataka resipe.
