Ingredients used in Tomatochen Sar
• Cumin - 1/4 teaspoons.
• Mustard seeds - 1/4 teaspoons.
• Turmeric - 1/4 teaspoons.
• Coriander leaves - to taste.
• Ginger - 5 grams.
• Garlic - 3 clove.
• Red chillies - 5 grams.
• Water - 1000 ml.
• Lentil - 115 grams.
• Tomatoes - 115 grams.
• Garam masala - pinch.
• Curry leaves - to taste.
• Salt - to taste.
• Fat - 15 grams.

1. Boil together lentil and tomatoes till tender .

2. Heat fat .Fry red chillies broken into small pieces .

3.Add mustard seeds ,cumin and curry leaves .

4. When mustard seeds crackle add ground ginger and garlic , turmeric , tomato mixture and salt .

5. Bring to boil .Add garam masala and chopped coriander leaves and remove .
