Ingredients used in Turkey Cutlets - Indian style
• Fresh corriender chopped - 1/4 cup.
• Garam masala powder - 1/2 teaspoons.
• Cumin powder - 1/2 teaspoons.
• Corriender powder - 1 teaspoons.
• Chilly powder - 1 teaspoons.
• Ginger/garlic paste - 1 teaspoons.
• Green onions - (spring onions) - 3 numbers.
• Ground turkey - 500 grams.
• Fresh mint chopped - 1/4 cup.
• Egg - 1 numbers.
• Bread crumbs - 2 tablespoons.
Method:
Mix well all above ingredients in a bowl. Roll into golf size balls, flatten into a cutlet and keep in the fridge until ready to serve. Keeping in the friedge helps to hold them firm. Heat oil in a fry pan, fry the cutlets about 5 to 6 mins on each side until golden brown. Do not over cook or they will become too dry. Serve hot or cold. I make these and keep in the fridge for the kids inbetween meals snacks. They just pick a bread, place a cutlet in it. Its a healthy snack as compared to those chips and deepfried foods that are available
