Ingredients used in Ultimate Makhani Sauce
• Ginger powder - 1 teaspoons.
• Salt - 2 teaspoons.
• Kasoori methi (dried leaves of fenugreek) - 2 teaspoons.
• Red chili powder - 2 teaspoons.
• Coriander powder - 2 teaspoons.
• Black pepper kernels - 4 numbers.
• Garam masala - 2 teaspoons.
• Cloves - 4 numbers.
• Cardamom (crushed) - 2 numbers.
• Honey - 2 tablespoons.
• Salted/unsalted butter - 2` tablespoons.
• Ready-cut diced tomatoes - 14.5 ounces.
• Heavy whipping cream - 1 cup.
• Cinnamon powder - 2 teaspoons.
Method:
Heat butter in a non-stick pan. Start by adding cardamom, cloves and black pepper to this. Now add tomatoes (puree the diced tomatoes with the help of a hand blender). Add garam masala, red chili powder, coriander powder and let the sauce cook for fifteen minutes. Now add the cream, honey, salt and kasoori methi. Cover with the lid and let this cook for another fifteen minutes. Makhani sauce is ready to be used with Chicken or Indian Cottage Cheese.
