VERMICELLI CHICKEN PULAO

Ingredients used in VERMICELLI CHICKEN PULAO
• Poppy seeds - 1 tea spoon.
• Pepper - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Biryani flower - 1 number.
• Cinnamon stick - 1 piece.
• Cardamom - 2 numbers.
• Star anise - 1 stick.
• Cloves - 2 numbers.
• Fennel seeds - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Vermicelli - 1 cup.
• Oil - 2 tablespoons.
• Black cumin seeds - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Bay leaves - 1 number.
• Green chilies - 3 numbers.
• Mint leaves - 1/4 bunch.
• Onion(slices) - 1 number.
• Salt - to taste.
• Chicken - 300 grams.
• Ginger garlic paste - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Turmeric powder - 1/4 tea spoon.
• Coriander powder - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Red chili powder - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Tomatoes(chopped) - 1 number.
• Water - as required.
Method:
  • Heat pan add poppy seeds, peppercorns, biryani phool, cinnamon stick, cardamom, star anise, cloves, fennel seeds and dry roast, transfer into a blender to make masala powder.
  • In the same pan, dry roast vermicelli and transfer to a plate.
  • Heat oil in the same pan, add black cumin seeds, bay leaves, green chilies, mint leaves, onions, salt and saute it.
  • Add chicken, ginger garlic paste, turmeric powder, coriander powder, red chili powder, masala powder and mix it, later place lid and cook it.
  • Add tomatoes mix it, cook with the lid on it.
  • Add water, salt, vermicelli and mix it, later cook with the lid on it.
  • Once it is done switch off the flame and allow it to rest for 5 minutes.

Now vermicelli chicken pulao is ready to serve.
