Ingredients used in wamu kashayam (ajwain chai)
• Cardamom - 1 piece.
• Saunf (fennel seeds) - 1/2 teaspoons.
• Ajwain (carom seeds) - 1 teaspoons.
• Tea leaves - 1 teaspoons.
Method:
Boil ajwain, saunf and cardamom in 2 cup water. Then add good quality tea leaves to it and leave it for about 3-4 minutes. Add honey as per your taste before consuming it. One can also add a small piece of ginger.

It would be better to dip tea leaves only for 1 to 1-1/2 min. Longer brewing times can make the tea taste bitter with some kind of tea leaves. To be sure, it is better to try dipping the leaves for 1, 2 and 3 min and taste yourself to know which give
