Ingredients used in Yakhani
• Mutton - 1 lbs.
• Yogurt - 1 1/2 cup.
• Shonth - 1 teaspoons.
• Badiyan - 1 1/2 numbers.
• Cloves - 2 numbers.
• Cinnamon - 2 stricks.
• Cumin - 2 teaspoons.
• Green elachi - 2 numbers.
• Elachi - 1 big.
• Heeng a - pinch.
• Oil - 1 tablespoons.
• Sour cream - 1/2 cup.
• Salt - to taste.
1 Take ¢ cup of water in pressure cooker. 2 Add mutton ,1 teaspoon cumin, 1 green elaichi, 1big black elaichi, cinnamon, pinch of heeng and salt. 3 Boil mutton with spices in a pressure cooker. 4 Pressure cook for 10 minutes and let pressure cool. 5 Beat yogurt well, sour cream, shonth and badiyan. 6 Add mixture of yogurt to mutton in a pressure cooker. 7 Boil the mutton with yogurt for 5 minutes. 8 Warm oil in a pan and pour over Yakhani. 9 Grind green elaichi and cumin. 10 Add to Yakhani in cooker. Cover it with lid till ready to serve. 11 Serve with white boiled rice.
