Description

This receipe is very famous in tamilnadu brahmins house. it is sweet dish. This dish is mainly prepared with raw rice,moong dhal,sugar,ghee,cashewsand nuts,saffronand milk.

  1. Mix 1 cup of raw rice and half a cup of moong dhal together in a vessel. pour 2 cups of milk in it.
  2. Place it in a cooker and allow to boil for 15minutes. Meanwhile take a tawa roast the cashews and nuts by pouring half a cup of ghee. In another tawa add the boiled rice and moong dhal mixture. pour 1 cup of sugar in it . stir it well .
  3. add the roasted cashews and nuts in it. stir it well to get a less thick consistency. finally sprinke the saffron over it to get a nice flavour !
