its a vegetarian rice dish n can be called as a substitute to pulao but much easier to make n delicious too.*soak the rice for 1/2 an hour *heat a pot n add oil, vanaspathiand ghee n allow to melt . combination of these three gives it a nice flavour n taste. *when the oil is heated add shahjeera, when it starts cracking add chopped onions n saute till slight golden colour.
