- Boil water in a pan, add soaked chana dal, turmeric powder, hing and cook till it reaches to a thickconsistency.
- Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, urad dal and saute it.
- Add curry leaves, dry red chilies, baby onions, chopped eggplant, slices of carrot, chopped raw mango, tomatoes to the same pan and sauté until all the vegetables turnslightly tender.
- Now add tamarind pulp and season with coriander powder, red chili powder, sambar powder, salt (to taste), give it a mix and cook well by adding water.
- Then add Horlicks oats to the same pan and stir byadding cooked & mashed chana dal.
- Finally, sprinklesome chopped coriander leaveson the top and turn off the flame
