Description

Instant Tava Noodles - my recipe is to make instant tava noodles with ingredients available at home. take a packet of instant noodles* - 1st use only the noodles and boil it in a container. do not add the sauce base yet. once the noodles are 90 -95% done, stop cooking and drain the water. (best is to use more water and add a tsp of oil while so that they do not stick together) you can also use a colander to drain the water. in a frying pan heat some oil, to this add the frozen vegetables. let them cook for some time, the vegetables loose a lot of water so you can choose to keep it covered or to let the water evaporate. (my preference will be to keep the lid on. once the vegetables are 70% cooked you can add some soy sauce, salt, red chilly flakes, and the packet of chicken cubes. the chicken cubes and the soy sauce are salty to please take care while adding salt. after adding the seasonings add the boiled noodles, mix it nicely. and let it cook for another 3 to 5 min (covering the pan helps in prevents the taste from escaping but also retains the water.) take it in a bowl and enjoy it. and don#39;t forget to modify it the way you want. my modifications - 1) add shredded chicken while cooking the vegetables. 2) dissolve a tsp of cornflour in a cup of water, add it in after the noodles to make gravy noodles. 3) add the packet of soup base with the spices, if you like the taste of the instant noodles. 4) for pure vegetarian do not add the chicken cubes and the list goes on.... * - the noodles available in America have beef stock in the soup base (the small packet that has all the spices) so if you want to avoid it do not use the packet. noodles available in the Indian stores do not have beef stock in them, but i would recommend checking the ingredients before buying any product.
