Description

mango dal goes well chappati or rice with pappad. 1.take 1 cup tuar dal or moong dal wash and add water and 1/2 tsp of turmeric and keep it aside. 2.if u are taking tuar dal u need to add a pinch of sugar as it has got a different flavour which sugar substantiate it. 3.take green chillies and add to dal which is soaked with turmeric and add little curry leaves to it too and add sambhar powder 1/2 tsp here either. 4.cut the raw mango and peel of the skin of the mango and dice it into 1 inch cubes and take it to another bowl. 5.take these bowls seperately a nd pressure cook it for half an hour and see that your bowls should be safe enough to go in the pressure cooker. 6.after the dal and mango cubes are cooked for half an hour ie., after 3 whistles u should sim the flame to low and see that it is cooked in low flame al together for 30 minutes. for tempering: add ghee to a saute pan and when it is heated through add redchillies, mustard seeds has to crackle and add cumin seeds and add chopped garlic and see that the garlic should be cooked and curry leaves,hing and redchilli powder to it and add this tempering to dal and add salt to taste and bring dal to a boil and serve hot with rice or chappati along with fried pappad along with mango pickle with ghee on top of it .
