Description

This is my moms chicken recipe .She always cooks it when i go home. I always miss her .I am posting it just to tell that she is best mom ever.In a large vessel take add a oil. add onion. fry till onion is golden brown, add chopped tomatoes. Fry them till it becomes soft. Add chicken washed and cut in small pieces.add lemon juice and salt n cook them in low flame. meanwile fry all the spices .(whole garam masala, chillies coriander and cumin) Grind together cloves fried masala, tamarind,and half bunch of coriander leaves into a smooth paste. Add it to the chicken mix well aand let it cook again for abt 10 minutes. Now fry coconut, curryleaves and cashews in a kadai. till the cocnut is slitly brown.a Now gring them into a smppth paste and add it to the chicken and cook till the chicken is fully done and the curry comes to a boil. you can add water if needed to maintain the consistency.
