This that i make takes not more than 5 mins and tastes delicious.Take a small nonstick vessel, add the 2 tsp butter,add 2tsp of all purpose flour to the melted butter , keep flame in low so that u dont burn them, then after the flour is slightly cooked add the chopped onions , saute well , then add little water and it will form the base , add the basil leaves , add the tomato puree and the carrot puree . no extra color needed to be added as this will give u a real good color . then when it slightly boils, add salt and pepper to taste , add little sugar say 1/2 tsp it brings out the flavor , this wont be very thin soup it will be like the dosa batter consistency . Add fresh cream after switching off the flame . serve hot with fried fried pieces .
