Moong dal goli is a authentic recipes made with green moong boiled and flavored with masala spices.
Soak moong dal overnight then grind to a fine paste till it gets to a thick consistency without mixing any water and transfer to a bowl.
Then add grated ginger, red chili powder, chopped green chilies, coriander leaves, salt, coriander powder in it and mix it well.
Heat oil in a pan, pour the above dal mixture and fry it like a halwa. Now, switch off the flame.
When it’s still warm, apply oil on palm and make small balls (like ladoos).
Heat oil in another pan, add sliced onions and saute till onions are slightly transparent.
Then add little turmeric powder, coriander powder, little cumin powder, salt, red chili powder, salt, chopped green chilies along with water and mix it well.
At last, add balls, garam masala powder, chopped coriander leaves and toss it well.
Serve it hot with green chutney.
