Description

Homemade noodles are much easier to make than you think and you don't even need a pasta machine.

1. Take a bowl and add egg and beat it then add flour and mix it to form a tight dough and keep aside.

2. Roll the dough using rolling pin.

3. Sprinkle flour and fan fold it and cut it into thin or thick slices as shown in the video.

4. Boil water in a pan and add noodles, little salt and cook the noodles and transfer it into the strainer and pour the cold water.

Noodle is one ingredient that can be made into a variety of dishes.  Noodles are extensively used in Far Eastern cuisine accompanied by soups, sauces and stir fried dishes. Homemade Noodles is simple and easy to prepare made with flour and egg mixed together to form a stiff dough; rolled and cut into thin strips to make noodles.

How to make homemade Noodles: Ingredients:


Egg     -           1 no


Flour   -           2 cups


Salt     -           to taste


Directions:


In a bowl, combine the egg and flour and knead well to make slightly smooth dough. Cover the dough and rest for 10 minutes.


Dust some flour on the surface and roll the dough with a rolling pin, fold and cut them into thin strips (as shown in video). Unroll the strips to separate and you can cook the noodles immediately.


Fill a large pot with water, add salt and bring to boil. When it comes to boiling point, add noodles and boil for few minutes or until the noodles are cooked. Drain the noodles in a colander and remove all the water off.
