Ingredients used in masala chicken
• Lemon juice - 1 teaspoons.
• Ginger garlic paste - 1 teaspoons.
• Salt - to taste.
• Garam masala - 1 teaspoons.
• Red chilli powder - 1 teaspoons.
• Turmeric - 1/2 teaspoons.
• Yogurt - 1 cup.
• Chicken bones in or boneless - 1 lbs.
• Oil - to fry.
• Cilantro - to taste.
Method:
Wash chicken pieces and then add all ingredients except the oil and cilantro. Let this set for about 30 minutes, the longer it sits the more it is absorbed into the chicken. Then heat your oil about 2-3 tbs to medium heat and add chicken cook til done, usually maybe 15-20 minutes covered. Then uncover and continue to cook til juice is very little then garnish with cilantro and serve with chapati and lemon wedges if desired.
