To marinate :
1.Wash the chicken and add turmeric powder.
2.Add half the quantity of sliced onions
3.Add half the quantity of curry leaves,half of spices,half of red chilly and salt
Leave the above to marinate for half an hr or atleast 20 mins.
Add curd or little lemon juice to this if preferred but its optional.
After 20 mins,
1.Add little oil to the pan.Add little oil as oil will ooze out from coconut milk on cooking.
2.Add the remaining spices,chilly,onion,curry leaves and fry them.
3.Add the marinated chicken and mix them well to the fried onions(both fried and marinated ones).
4.Add coconut milk and allow it to cook by closing with the lid until the chicken is cooked well.
5.Once the chicken is cooked,open the lid and allow it to cook until it becomes a thick masala.
6.Finally on removing add corriander leaves.
The yummy spicy and little sweet coconut chicken is ready to eat.
This combines well with sambar rice,fried rice and only rice also.
Note : add the chilly according to your taste.
