Ingredients used in Petit Pate
• Potatoes - 500 grams.
• All purpose flour - 2 tablespoons.
• Tomato - 2 numbers.
• Finely choped curry leaves - 10 numbers.
• Turmeric powder - 1 teaspoons.
• Salt - to taste to taste.
• Oil - 5 tablespoons.
• Cloves - 6 numbers.
• Cinnamon, cardamon,bay leaves - 3 numbers.
• Coriander leaves - half bunch.
• Mint leave - half bunch.
• Finely choped ginger garlic - 2 tablespoons.
• Green chillies - 8 numbers.
• Onion - 1 big.
• Finely minced chicken or beef or mutton - 500 grams.
• Egg - 1 numbers.
Method:

To the filling : In a large pan put all the ingredients together (except potatoes, all pupose flour and egg) add half cup of water not more if its mutton meat or beef meat. If u r using chicken water is not necessary. cover it and cook it in a medium flame for 15 min till the oil comes out and the mixture separates nicely like a puttu. Let it cool. Dont forgot to remove cinnamon, cardamon, bay leaves. Now to the mashed potatoes : boil the potatoes and mashed it well. Add little salt and all purpose flour and wix well. The mashy potato should not be sticky. Take a big lemon size potato round it and flat it and then put 1 or 2 tbsp of the meat mixture in the ball and then cover all the edges just like when u do kochoris. Do it carefully and then press little bit the ball. When it comes like a cutlet it s good enough. in a plate beet the egg. Take one cutlet, dip it in the egg and its now ready to be shallow fry in a tava with 1 tbsp full of oil or butter . Fry the 2 side and its ready.
