Ingredients used in tamilnadu chicken curry
• Oil - 2 tablespoons.
• Salt(to taste) - .
• Coriander powder - 1/2 tablespoons.
• Chilly powder - 1/2 tablespoons.
• Ginger garlic paste - 2 tablespoons.
• Tomato - 1 numbers.
• Onions (medium) - 2 numbers.
• Chicken with or without bone - 2 pound.
• Cinnamon sticks - 2 numbers.
• Cloves - 4 numbers.
• Cashew nuts - 5 numbers.
• Curry leaves - .
Method:
clean amp; wash chicken amp; leave it to drain. In a pan add oil,amp; season cinnamon,cloves,cashew nuts,curryleaves. Add ginger garlic paste to it.fry for a while.add chopped onions to it.fry well. Add the chicken pieces to it amp; fry till the water from the chicken drys out. Add turmeric powder to it amp; fry. Add tomatoes to it amp; add chllly powder,coriander powder ,amp; salt to it.. Cook covering the pan stirring occasionally on a medium flame. Cook till the gravy forms amp; the chicken is well done. Serve hot with white rice or rasam rice.
