Description : Shallow fish fry.

curry leaves	stick	1
Fennel Seeds	tsp	1
Fish	piece	4
Oil	tbsp	1
Pearl onions(chopped)	number	15
Red chillies	number	5
Salt	to taste	little
Tomato(finely chopped)	number	1
Turmeric Powder	tsp	1/2
Directions \| How to make Shallow Fish Fry

1. Clean and marinate the fish in turmeric powder and salt for 5 mins 2. Saute fennel seeds and red chillies with too less oil for 1min. 3.Coarse Grind the fennel seeds and red chillies. 4. Heat oil in a kadai/pan 4. Splutter curry leaves and add the ground masala. Fry it for 1/2 min. 5. Add onions and fry till light brown. 6. Add tomato and little salt and water . Cook for 5 mins or till half done. 7. Add fish pieces and allow it to cook in medium flame. 8. Switch off the stove when the oil separates. Note: Fish can be any variety.. You can get seer/king fish or cat fish as per your liking.
	Serving Ideas
	Serve with cooked rice and tamarind fish curry.
