Directions | How to make Vegetable Uppam
 
Grind the coriander/cloves/cinnamon/green chillies/ginger & garlic with fennel seeds to a fine paste with ittle water. Fry the rava till light brown ( very constantly). Heat oil in a pan , add the chopped onions fry & then add the curry leaves. Once the onions are fried, add the the vege's & fry until half cooked. Add the grinded masala paste & fry for 2 mts & then add the tomatoes & cook for another 2 mts.. Now add the boiled hot water & salt. Taste the water & add the salt if needed. Once the water starts to boil , reduce your flame & add the rava very slowly & paralley stirring it. Once the rava is being added .Add the ghee on top & close the lid. Let the flame be on medium. Cook this for 8 mts or so.Open the lid give it a gentle stir & serve it hot.
Recipe Tips
You may add veges like green bell pepper too.
