1. Soak the Chana Dal in water and boil in Pressure Cooker for 1-2 whistle and keep aside. The Chana Dal should not be boiled full it should be half smash. 2. Cut the Cabbage into very small and tiny pieces. 3. Take one fry pan, add oil once the oil becomes hot, add cumin, jeera seeds and turmeric. 4. Add onion and ginger garlic paste and let the onions become slightly reddish. At that time add turmeric, Cabbage and let the cabbage fry for sometime. 5. After the Cabbage gets cooked add red chilli powder, salt , coriander powder and light garam masala, coconut powder. Add now half boiled chana dal and keep it in simmer for few minutes.
Curry is good to have with chapathi and rice along with rasam.
