Recipe of Masala Tove

Ingredient Name Quantity Unit
Garam Masala Powder 1 Tablespoons
Pepper Pinch
Oil Or Ghee
Tomato Chopped 1 Small
Onion Chopped 1/2 Small
Cumin 1 Teaspoons
Cut Mixed Vegetables 1/2 Cup
Ginger-garlic Paste 1 Tablespoons
Green Grams 1/3 Cup
Toor Daal 1/3 Cup
Channa Daal 1/3 Cup
Water 2 1/2 as required Cup
Lemon Juice- Optional


Heat oil in a pressure pan. Add jeera saute, then add ginger-garlic paste.Add chopped onion and chopped tomato. Fry for few mins till tomato is slightly sauted. Add little pepper, garam masala, turmeric powder, all cut mixed vegs ( like peas, beans, carrot, cauliflower etc.) . Add daal , water and cook with salt in a pressure pan until you hear 2-3 whistles. Once done check the consistency , bring it to boil adjusting the consistency and the salt. Simmer for few mins. Turn off the stove and garnish with chopped coriander. if desired squeeze few drops of lemon juice (Optional) For tempering heat oil add mustard seeds, split Urad daal, red chilli, hing. Once the mustard splutters por this mixture over the preparation. Serve hot with rice
