The traditional English way to eat these is with clotted cream (which is a cream that is so thick it is almost like butter) spread thickly on top, and strawberry jam or preserve, and yes, a cup of tea with milk to drink with it.

Thank you for chef...can we substitute the AP flour with Whole wheat flour?? or maybe 50/50?? will that affect the texture of the scones?? I really like the simplicity of this recipe.
