Ingredients used in Bottle Gaurd with Prawns(Kokan dhudhi delight)
• Red chilly powder - 1 tablespoons.
• Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoons.
• Coconut milk - 1/2 cup.
• Oil - 4 tablespoons.
• Veg maggi cube(optional) - 1 numbers.
• Tomatoes - 2 numbers.
• Onion - 2 numbers.
• Prawns - 100 grams.
• Bottle gourd(lauki) - 500 grams.
• Garlic - 3 piece.
• Coriander powder - 2 teaspoons.
• Khada masala(cloves,cinnamon,cardamom) - few of each stricks.
• Salt - to taste.
Method:
Take a vessel ,add 2 spoons of oil and fry frac12; diced onion till golden brown.Add the cut bottle gourd and prawns.Keep it to cook.Add the maggi cube.Let it simmer slowly.[1] Take another pan.Add 2 spoons of oil and add khada masala then fry.Then add chopped onions,tomatoes,green chillies and garlic.Saute for sometime.Cool the mixture and blend it in the mixer.Make it into a fine paste.[2] Add the paste [2] to the above boiled content [1].Add little water and simmer.When it stars boiling add one cup of coconut milk.Boil it for a while.The gravy is done.
