Ingredients used in chenai kadi ( yam)
• Salt - to taste.
• Grated coconut - 3-4 tablespoons.
• Haldi - 3 pinch.
• Ginger - 1 piece.
• Toor dhal - 100 grams.
• Channa dhal - 50 grams.
• Chenai ( yam) - 250 grams.
• Oil - 1 tablespoons.
• Mustard - half tablespoons.
• Curry leaves - 1 stricks.
• Lemon - 1 to taste.
Method:

add chenai , ginger, channa dhal, toor dhal, haldi, ginger, salt in a presure cooker and allow 2-3 whistles.then in a kadai add oil mustard seeds red chilli curry leaves and add the cooked chenai mixture to it. add grated coconut and add required amount of water to make it into a semi solid consistency. finally add lemon juice to taste after switching off the gas stove.
