Ingredients used in Chilli-Fish
• Chillie sauce - 3 tablespoons.
• Red chillie pdr - 1 1/2 teaspoons.
• Cellery - 1/4 cup.
• Capsicum ( cut into small square pieces) - 1 nos .
• Garlic ( chopped) - 1 teaspoons.
• Green chillie( chopped) - 1 teaspoons.
• Onion ( cut into small square pieces) - 3 big.
• All purpose flour - 1/4 cup.
• Cornflour - 1/4 cup.
• Egg - 1 nos .
• Salt - to taste.
• Soya sauce - 1 teaspoons.
• Pepper corn pdr - 1 teaspoons.
• Fleshy fish ( cut into small sqare pieces) - 1/2 kg piece.
• Sugar - 1/2 teaspoons.
• Water - 2 cup.
• Red chillie color - 1 pinch.
• Cornflour - 1 tablespoons.
• Salt - to taste .
• Oil - for frying .
Method:

1.Marinate the fish pieces with pepper powder, soya sauce and salt and keep aside for about 1 hour.2. Make a thick batter of Egg, Cornflour, Maida and salt together. 3. Now after one hour take out the fish and dip into this batter one by one and fry until it is crispy.4. Now take a pan add 11/2tbsp of oil, add chopped green chillies, garlic and saute well for a minute,to it add onion and saute well when it is done add chopped capsicum.5.To this add red chilli powder, cellery and saute well now add chilli sauce, water,red color and salt to it. rest til it boil .6. When it is boiled and water lowers down add fried fish to this gravy and allow it to be in the gravy for about 3 minutes, now add 1tbsp of cornflour,in two tbsp of water to this gravy and make it thick.as a last touch add 1/2 tsp of sugar to this and make a fine thick gravy. (if you need you can add ajnomotto to this )
