Description
Mushroom Biriyani is simple and quick to make that is healthy and also rich in flavors.

Ingredients of Easy Mushroom Biriyani

Ingredient Name Quantity Unit
mushroom sliced  1 1/2 Lbs
basmati rice  2 Cup
medium onions chopped  3 Numbers
ginger garlic paste  1 Tablespoons
medium tomatoes diced  2 Numbers
green chillies (per taste) ground  6 Numbers
shredded coconut  1/2 Cup
ghee  2 Tablespoons
salt   To Taste
chopped corinader   To Taste
chopped mint   To Taste
piece cinnamon  1 Numbers
cloves  5 Numbers
cardamoms  3 Numbers


Directions
Heat one tbsp ghee in a pan and saute onions and ginger garlic paste for 5 minutes . Then add the ground green chillies and continue frying . Then add the tomatoes and fry till tomatoes are soft.

Then add the sliced mushrooms with salt and saute for another 5 minutes .Finally add the ground coconut, powdered spices ,cilantro and mint.Mix well and simmer till thick.

Heat the other tbsp ghee in a pot and add the rice.Stir fry till the rice is well coated with ghee and add 4 cups water. Cover and let it cook .[You can add little turmeric powder for color and garam masala for taste at this point]

Once the rice is completely cooked , add the mushroom masala to the rice .Stir well and serve with raita and pickle.
