Ingredients used in Green Bean Fugat
• Mustard seeds - 1 teaspoons.
• Onion - 1/2 numbers.
• Ginger garlic paste - 1 teaspoons.
• Green chillies - 2 numbers.
• Green bean (called french beans in india) - 200 grams.
• Oil - 1 tablespoons.
• Curry leaves - 5 leaf.
• Tumeric - 1/8 teaspoons.
• Grated coconut - 2 tablespoons.
Method:
Clean and cut beans into bite size pieces. Heat 1 oil, add mustard seeds. When seeds begin to flutter add curry leaves, green chillies, onion and salt. Saute for a while. Add ginger garlic paste and turmeric powder. cook a little, Now add the beans and just a little water (1/4 cup). Cover and cook on low flame, stirring occasionally. When beans are half way done add grated coconut. Check seasoning. Serve hot.
