Ingredients used in Green Leaves curry ( Soppu Saru)
• Sambar powder - 2 tablespoons.
• Garlic flakes - 4-5 clove.
• Green chilles - 4 numbers.
• Onion - 1 small.
• Tomato - 1 small.
• Spinach,methi and dill leaves - each 1 bunch.
• Fresh grated coconut - 1/2 cup.
• Toor dal - 1 cup.
Method:
Take a big non stick pan and get water to boil and add toor dal, once the dal is 60% cooked mix all the other ingredents and cook till dal and other ingredents are little soft, switch of the stove and let this mxture cool a bit, keep the water seprately and put the rest in a blender and just grind for 1 min, Then mix this mixture with the dal water and boil it for 5min by adding salt. take a small pan and put little oil(1 spoon ) and mustard seeds, red chillies and curry leaves and make a tadka and put this to the dal and green leaves mixture. Yummy Soppu Saru is ready!!!
