King Prawn Korma Curry

Ingredients used in King Prawn Korma Curry
• Prawns - 150 grams.
• Almonds - 10 grams.
• Cashew nuts - 20 grams.
• Melon seeds - 20 grams.
• Poppy seeds - 10 grams.
• Oil - 2 tablespoons.
• Cumin seeds - 1/4 tea spoon.
• Whole garam masala (each) - 2 numbers.
• Green chillies - 2 numbers.
• Ginger garlic paste - 1/2 tablespoon.
• Tomato puree - 1/4 cup.
• Cumin powder - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Coriander powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Turmeric powder - 1 pinch.
• Chili powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Garam masala powder - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Crush pepper - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Salt - to taste.
• Fried onions - 1/2 cup.
• Lime juice - 1 tea spoon.
• Curd - 3 tablespoons.
Method:
  • Heat water in a pan add Almonds, cashew nuts, melon seeds, Poppy seeds, cook it for 15 minutes then put it into the blender and make a fine paste along with fried onions, keep it a side.
  • Heat oil in a pan add cumin seeds, whole garam masala, green chilies, ginger garlic paste, saute it and add tomato puree, cook it for few minutes.
  • Then add prepared nuts paste, add cumin powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, chili powder, mix it well, add curd, cook this for few minutes.
  • Then add the king prawns and add crush pepper, add lime juice, put the lid on and let it cook for 3 minutes, then add garam masala powder, mix it well and cook for few minutes then switch off the flame.
