MULLANGI PERUGU PACHADI - ( RADISH IN YOGURT)

Ingredients used in MULLANGI PERUGU PACHADI - ( RADISH IN YOGURT)
• Turmeric powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Blackgram dal - half cup.
• Mustard seeds - 1 tea spoon.
• Chopped cilantro - 2 teaspoons.
• Curry leaves - 5 sticks.
• Green chillies - 4 no.
• Mullangi - (radish) - 1 no.
• Ghee - 2 tablespoons.
• Yougurt - half cup.
Method:
  • Grate mullangi (raddish) and set aside.
  • Cut chillies into small pieces.
  • Heat ghee and fry the mustard seeds and black gram dal, then add curry leaves.
  • Add chillies, grated mullangi(raddish) and turmeric.
  • Mix well, add salt and cilantro,
  • Cook on low heat for 10 minutes. When done, set aside to cool a bit.
  • Mix with yogurt goes well with steamed white rice.
