Spicy Methi Chicken With Dal Powder Masala

Ingredients used in Spicy Methi Chicken With Dal Powder Masala
• Oil - as required.
• Cloves - 2 number.
• Cardamom - 2 number.
• Maize - 1 number.
• Star anise - 1 number.
• Bay leaf - 1 number.
• Biryani flower - 1 number.
• Caraway seeds - 1 tea spoon.
• Cinnamon stick - small.
• Coriander seeds - 1 tea spoon.
• Chana dal - 1 tea spoon.
• Toor dal - 1 tea spoon.
• Urad dal - 1 tea spoon.
• Green chilies (chopped) - 4 number.
• Onion (chopped) - 1 number.
• Salt - to taste.
• Turmeric powder - half tea spoon.
• Ginger garlic paste - 1 tea spoon.
• Chicken pieces - 1 cup.
• Tomato puree - 1 cup.
• Fenugreek leaves (chopped) - 1 cup.
  • Heat oil in a pan, add whole garam masala spices, coriander seeds, toss well, add chana dal, urad dal, toor dal, chopped green chilies, saute well, transfer to a blender, grind to a fine paste and keep aside.
  • Now add some more oil to the same, heat it, add chopped onions, salt, turmeric powder, ginger garlic paste, toss it, add the prepared masala paste, chicken pieces, tomato puree, mix well and cook with closed lid till chicken pieces turn tender enough.
  • Add fenugreek leaves, toss well and cook with closed lid for about 5 minutes, turn off the flame and transfer to servingbowl.

Delicious Spicy Methi Chicken With Dal Powder Masala is now ready to serve with hot rice.
