Main Ingredient : Flour

Ingredients used in Pithle
• Water - 2 cup.
• Garlic flakes chopped/ crushed - 5-6 numbers.
• Ginger chopped - 1 piece.
• Chilli pwd - 1/2 teaspoons.
• Turmeric powder - 1/4 teaspoons.
• Green chilies - 2-3 numbers.
• Onion - 1 large.
• Gram flour (besan) - 2 teaspoons.
• Coriander leaves - to taste.
• Salt - to taste.
• Oil - to fry.
• Desicated coconut - to taste.
Method:
1. Mix together gram flour and some water for desired consistency. Remove the lumps. 2. In a deep pan, heat oil. Add the chopped ginger and garlic. Add chopped onions. Give vertical slits to the chilies and add them. Add turmeric and chilli powder. Also add salt. 3. When onion pieces become transperent, add water and allow it to boil. Add the paste of gram flour. Now keep stirring to avoid lump formation. 4. Cover and turn the heat on medium. 5. Remove the lid and stir after 5 minutes. Pithale is ready to serve when the raw smell goes. 6. Garnish with coriander leaves, desicated coconut and serve with plain rice or bhakri. Variation : 1) Add chopped drumsticks in the step 2 and let them cook in the water. 2) Also spring onions can be added instead of the drum sticks.
