Simple Masoor dal
Author : Vahchef
Main Ingredient : Dall
Servings : 0 persons
Published date : November 21, 2016

Ingredients used in Simple Masoor dal
• Oil for tarka as needed - .
• Butter - 1/4 teaspoons.
• Turmeric - 1 teaspoons.
• Salt - 1 teaspoons.
• Medium size onion sliced - 1 piece.
• Red daal (masoor dal) - 3 cup.
• Garlic crushed - 9 clove.
• Red dried chillies (optional) - 3 piece.
Method:

STEP 1: Wash and soak dal for about half hour. STEP 2: Add onion, salt and turmeric to the dal and cook it on high heat. When the onion disappears, and the daal looks like a slushy consistency adjust your heat. STEP 3: Start preparing tarka by adding enough oil to the pan for frying your garlic until it is brown. STEP 4: Pour oil, garlic mixture on the dal. This will make daal a bit more creamier. STEP 5: Add butter and mix well. Your dal is ready and can be served over plain white rice and lemon wedges.
